Sarah Nargan
Sarah Nargang is an educator, director, actress, and producer based in the Twin Cities. For over 15 years, she has been a collaborator with the Interact Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, championing inclusive and innovative performance work. She also serves as the Artistic Director of Wayward Theatre Company, which is celebrated for its immersive, site-specific productions and its commitment to community-building through storytelling—including their ongoing multimedia project, Mixtape.
With a strong foundation in both education and professional theatre, Sarah brings a dynamic blend of real-world experience and teaching expertise into every classroom. She has worked extensively with high school students across the Twin Cities and taught through the Children’s Theatre Company’s Neighborhood Bridges program, where she used storytelling and puppetry as powerful tools for developing critical literacy, questioning of the status quo and creative thinking.
Sarah holds a BA in Theatre with a concentration in directing from Augsburg University and is a graduate of the LISPA Summer Institute in Berlin, where she trained in physical and devised theatre.
She is thrilled to be part of Interact’s Summer Camp, where she looks forward to creating, growing, and learning alongside the campers!
